Haas have revealed their design for the VF-26 ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season and the new regulations.
2026 marks 10 years since Haas’ debut in the sport in 2016. Entering their 11th season, Haas remain one of the smallest teams in F1, but they head into a new and exciting era.
Not only is it a change of regulations that the American outfit have to get used to, but also new sponsorship deals. Toyota Gazoo Racing will be the team’s title sponsor, taking over from MoneyGram, as part of their ongoing racing partnership with Haas.
How much have Haas improved since Ayao Komatsu took over from Guenther Steiner?
Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon guided the team to eighth in the championship in 2025, with the former having a standout season. He recorded Haas’ joint-best result in F1 with P4 in Mexico in what was a strong rookie campaign.
With Ferrari keeping an eye on Bearman for 2027, he and teammate Ocon will be keen to have a competitive season under the new regulations. They have certainly turned heads with the VF-26’s design.

F1 fans think Haas are ‘bringing the heat’ with their 2026 livery
For 2026, Haas’ car features the typical white, black and red colour scheme. However, they have opted for more white around the VF-26, with a slick red trim above the sidepods.
The TGR logo also features on the engine cover, making a nice, clean design. Many F1 fans were in agreement after seeing the car for the first time on X (formerly Twitter).

“Wow, Haas is bringing the heat in 2026,” said one fan. Another wrote: “Super clean livery, huge fan of that.”
“THEY COOKED BEST LIVERY OF THE SEASON,” said one excited user. Naturally, only Red Bull and Racing Bulls have also unveiled their liveries for 2026 so far, but Haas clearly tops them in this person’s eyes.
Another fan even felt that the VF-26 is one of Haas’ best designs in F1: “It’s one of the best Haas has done hopefully they have a good season.”
“That looks clean,” said one user. Finally, another hoped that the car is as good on the track as it looks: “Looking good! Let’s wait to see if it’s fast.”

Esteban Ocon issues first thoughts on Haas’ 2026 car in the simulator
Speaking in a press release after the launch of the VF-26, Ocon offered his thoughts on the car in the simulator. The 2026 rules present a whole new challenge for drivers.
The Frenchman said: “It’s a very particular way of driving the car. There’s going to be a lot more management on the engine side and on the hybrid side.
“The car itself, you know, felt pretty good. The balance was decent, although of course it was our first taste in the simulator, so we need to see how it is in reality, but the level of grip was good.
“Clearly, the biggest change is from the engine side, and that’s going to be the key for us to be prepared. It’s an exciting challenge, and it’s a different way of driving compared to before.
“I think we can forget everything that we’ve learned since go-karts on how to go fast, but it will be interesting to learn a new driving style and hopefully find speed with it.”
