The majority of the Formula 1 grid is already decided for next season but the pressure is always on when racing at the pinnacle of motorsport.
Dozens of drivers are trying to break into F1 and a handful of current racers look set to miss out on a seat in 2025.
Rookies such as Kimi Antonelli, Oliver Bearman and Jack Doohan will all be racing in F1 as full-time drivers for the first time next year.
Franco Colapinto’s Williams cameo has also helped prove that the top drivers in Formula 2 are more than ready if offered the chance to impress.
Nico Rosberg was speaking on Sky Sports F1 about the pressure potentially building on one driver in the paddock.
Sergio Perez has had another difficult campaign after what looked like a promising start to the season with Red Bull.

Four podiums in the first five races have proven to be a false dawn for Perez and after 275 Grand Prix starts, Rosberg believes that if things don’t improve quickly he may be staring at the end of his Formula 1 career.
Daniel Ricciardo is expected to lose his RB seat with Liam Lawson taking his place.
It proves that Red Bull aren’t afraid to make changes and if Lawson impresses then Perez could end up without a seat in 2025.

Rosberg doesn’t think that Perez’s current contract is enough to put him in a strong position for next year or beyond.
It was a gamble from the Anglo-Austrian outfit to extend his deal when his struggles started and one that might not pay off, even if Perez’s contract includes a clause that would allow Red Bull to drop him.
Nico Rosberg warns Sergio Perez about his Formula 1 future
Rosberg was asked about where Perez is at the moment after Sunday’s disappointment and said: “It’s just the usual struggles that just continue compared with Max, who really was at his very best again this weekend.
“That just makes that gap so big because we know that the Red Bull car is having a difficult time and this is the worst track for the Red Bull car in Singapore and I think that’s just the result there.

“But he really has to find some progress at some point. Otherwise, they’re going to question him again for next year.”
The Mexican only just squeezed into the points in Singapore and while Christian Horner admitted Perez’s 10th-place finish could be hugely important, it’s hard to see it that way from the outside.
Instead, it piled further pressure on the team and Max Verstappen as he continued to fight to save both championships without the support of his teammate.
Martin Brundle’s ominous 2025 Sergio Perez prediction
It would be harsh to blame Perez entirely for the predicament he finds himself in at the moment.
Red Bull’s car has taken a step backwards compared to their rivals this year, something Perez has been keen to point out for a long time.
Some Red Bull staff even apologised to Perez when they realised that his complaints had merit.
He’s also up against one of the fastest drivers in the history of Formula 1 and even in a car he was more comfortable in, there would be a gap between the two of them.
Martin Brundle is worried that Perez could become a real problem for Red Bull next year, and it’s up to Horner and Helmut Marko to map out a long-term solution for both teams.
Horner is particularly excited about one youngster in their junior team, but he’s still at least one year away from being ready to potentially race in F1.
