Aston Martin’s launch of the AMR26 rounded out the pre-season launches for every team on the F1 grid, leading fans to issue their verdict on who will be turning up to Bahrain with the best new paint job.
Formula 1 fans rejoiced at the FIA’s implementation of a new rule, which saw teams forced to cover at least 55% of their 2026 challengers in paint in a bid to distinguish the different racing outfits for new fans and increase the visibility of each brand on the grid.
Gone were the raw carbon-fibre dominated liveries, and fans have now been rewarded with a slightly more colourful line-up this year ahead of the first official week of testing for the upcoming campaign.
While it has absolutely no meaningful impact on the race pace of each car, it’s always nice to see a beautiful livery adorned on some of the fastest bits of machinery on the planet.

F1 fans think Haas have ‘taken the W’ for the best livery on the 2026 grid
After a gallery of every team’s new livery for the upcoming season was uploaded to the social media website, Reddit, fans were quick to pick out their favourite new look.
The overwhelming sentiment was one in favour of Haas, who marked their new collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing with a clean new paint job.
One fan loved the integration of TGR’s logo on the livery, commenting, “Haas nailed it this year with a clean livery that is finally emphasising the Toyota GR racing connection.”
Another believes that you simply can’t get much better than the American constructor’s new look, posting, “Haas is absolute perfection for me. Just nailed every aspect of the design.”
Haas appeared at the top of many fans’ lists, with one user stating that they couldn’t quite put their finger on why they love it so much. They commented, “Something about the Haas just gets me, man. My favourite one of the lot!”
One Reddit user gave their verdict on who had the best livery, as well as the worst, opining, “Haas is probably my favourite, Audi definitely my least favourite.”
All in all, it seems like the team led by Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman have won over a few new fans since the reveal, with another writing, “Honestly, I think Haas have taken the W this year for new liveries.”
Finally, one user gave a short and sweet description of the collective attitude towards Haas’ new look, commenting, “Wow, Haas really does have the best livery.”

As mentioned before, no world championship points will be handed out to the team with the best paint job, but it will certainly win over a few more fans who may be tuning into the sport for the very first time.
The American constructor has regularly turned up to season-openers with nice liveries, and Haas were a contender for having the livery of the season well before everyone else had even revealed their new cars.
They have donned the red, white and black colourway for several years now, with their previous black and gold design also turning heads upon its arrival at pre-season testing in Barcelona.
It seemed to be a nod towards the iconic John Player Special-sponsored Lotus livery from the 1970s, one which holds a special place in the heart of many Formula 1 fans.
