F1 Oversteer looks at the head-to-head teammate battles of the 2025 Formula 1 grid including each driver’s points, wins and podiums to Grand Prix, qualifying and Sprint results.

Formula 1 is now in the summer break following an exciting race at the Hungarian Grand Prix, and there are now just 10 races before we find out who will be crowned world champion.

We have surpassed the halfway mark of a joint-record 24-round calendar, which is spread across five continents, including an additional six Sprint events. This year also marks the 75th edition of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Several team line-ups changed in 2025 with Haas and Sauber taking all-new line-ups, while six rookie drivers have joined the grid for the first time since 2010.

McLaren have taken the 2025 constructors’ title for the second consecutive year, with Norris claiming his maiden drivers’ championship victory at the season finale in Abu Dhabi. The title fight went down to the last race of the year with both McLaren drivers battling Max Verstappen for the victory.

The fight ramped up with two races remaining, after both Norris and Piastri were disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix due to plank wear.

Pierre Gasly has been with Alpine since 2023 when he made the switch from AlphaTauri. The Frenchman was first joined by Jack Doohan for one race at the end of 2024. That line-up continued into 2025, but only for six races before Doohan was replaced by Franco Colapinto from the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

The pair have had a difficult 2025 season, although this could be attributed to problems with the car. Colapinto was the only driver, other than Doohan, to not score a single point in 2025.
