Stallard first joined McLaren in 2008 as a simulator engineer, before going on to work with Jenson Button, Stoffel Vandoorne, Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo and Oscar Piastri as a race engineer. He also took on the role of director of human performance in January 2024 and won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for Great Britain in the men’s eight rowing.
