Italian Formula 1 fans were heard asking Kimi Antonelli to join Ferrari in the future after winning the Monaco Grand Prix.
The 19-year-old won his fifth race in a row at the Monaco Grand Prix, grabbing his first grand slam in F1. Antonelli is now 66 points clear of Lewis Hamilton in second, and is looking like the clear favourite for the championship.
His stock has skyrocketed in 2026, with some even saying that Antonelli is becoming bigger than Ferrari. With this, the Italian has been linked with a move to Maranello for some time, and the Tifosi had one plea for him in Monaco.
Is Kimi Antonelli about to run away with the championship, or will it be close?

According to a report from MARCA, Antonelli was signing autographs and taking pictures with fans after the Monaco GP.

The Maranello outfit have monitored the young Mercedes driver throughout his career. Ferrari did not have the structure to sign Antonelli back when he was 11 years old, according to former team principal Maurizio Arrivabene.
Mercedes swooped in to sign him and are developing the teenager into what will prove to be a generational talent.
But Italy are still keeping an eye on the young driver. Ferrari have a ‘directive’ to sign Antonelli ‘as quickly as possible’ with his current form.
Which driver would you rather have RIGHT NOW: Charles Leclerc or Kimi Antonelli?
Antonelli agrees with Lewis Hamilton about Ferrari, calling them an ‘immense’ team, as he addressed the transfer rumours. Mercedes announced him for the 2026 season, having only signed a one-year deal last year, but it is understood that he has a multi-year deal.
Toto Wolff will not want to lose his star talent too easily, especially to a main rival. But Ferrari will no doubt keep tabs on him in the future and will look to bring the Italian home.
F1 fans have told Antonelli not to join Ferrari, saying that he will give up any chance of winning a world championship. They have not won a drivers’ title since Kimi Raikkonen in 2007 and a constructors’ title since 2008.
