Ross Brawn has given a short and sharp answer when asked if he could see Lewis Hamilton joining Red Bull Racing one day.
Brawn was speaking on TalkSPORT ahead of the release of a documentary about his F1 team Brawn GP.
Hosts Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist took the opportunity to ask him about a range of different topics.
One that has dominated the paddock for the last few years has been the rivalry between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
It all came to a head in Abu Dhabi in 2021 when Verstappen won arguably the most controversial race in the sport’s history to clinch his first title.
Ever since then, Verstappen has stormed ahead of the seven-time champion with Mercedes unable to design a car that can keep up with Adrian Newey’s latest creation.
Ross Brawn has now shared whether he could ever see Hamilton joining Verstappen at Red Bull.
It would be frankly incredible to see the two drivers up against each other in the same machinery.

However, Christian Horner might not be too keen on having two alpha drivers in his team.
It almost suits them to have Sergio Perez in the second car, even if they probably wish he was a bit closer to his teammate.
Brawn shares if he could see Hamilton ever drive for Red Bull
TalkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil asked Brawn if Hamilton would think about joining the championship-winning team if given the opportunity and he said: “I don’t know. It would be wonderful to see wouldn’t it!”
The fact that Brawn would like to see the move says a lot about where the sport is right now.
In an ideal world, the best drivers on the grid would be competing with different teams who all had competitive cars.
At times this season, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren and Aston Martin could all conceivably be considered the second-best team on the grid.
However, no one has been able to get anywhere near Max Verstappen’s Red Bull this season.
Hamilton would love to overtake Michael Schumacher as the most successful driver in F1 history and as Brawn suggests, driving for Red Bull would give him his best chance right now.
Unfortunately, it’s a scenario that seems very unlikely to play out right now.
It’s the same as another veteran of the sport who has also been linked with a move to the Austrian team.
