McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has named his top three drivers if everyone on the Formula 1 grid was racing in the equal cars.
Piastri was interviewed on The Fellas Podcast and addressed plenty of different topics.
The British-based Australian driver is one of three rookies on the grid this season.
Alongside Williams driver Logan Sargeant and AlphaTauri’s Nyck de Vries, the trio are working their way through their first full F1 season.
Piastri currently tops the standings out of the new drivers with five points.

The two other newcomers are now the only drivers on the grid who are yet to get off the mark.
Piastri was asked about who would come out on top if everyone had equal cars.
The varying levels of pace across the grid have really shone through this season.
After eight races, only Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have tasted victory.
However, things might not change too much according to Piastri if everyone was in the same vehicle.
Piastri names top three F1 drivers in equal cars
Asked about how he would fare if everyone was in the same machinery, Piastri said: “I don’t know. I hope somewhere at the front, that would be the aim.
“I think you would still have similar names at the top.
“Max [Verstappen] would still be up there, [Lewis] Hamilton, [Fernando] Alonso, like the guys who are at the top and at the top teams, they’re at the top teams for a reason. They can pick who they want and they choose those guys.”
“I think I could be somewhere at the front, I hope so.
“It’s a question that gets asked a lot, who would win in equal cars and it’s always a controversial answer.”

Piastri’s answer is predictable given the three drivers he named are the only current World Champions on the grid.
Verstappen has been unstoppable in his Red Bull this year and it would be a huge shock if he didn’t win another World Championship title.
Alonso and Hamilton have driven the same car before all the way back in 2007 for McLaren.
Hamilton out-qualified Alonso 10-7, but Alonso finished ahead of him in the races by the same margin.
Many F1 fans would love to see Piastri and the rest of the F1 grid in equal cars, even if it was just for one race.
The winner would earn serious bragging rights over the rest of the grid.
