Journalist Natalie Pinkham has shared what she’s noticed has changed about Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen.
Speaking on the F1 Nation Podcast, Pinkham and Tom Clarkson were reflecting on the Spanish Grand Prix.
It was another straightforward affair for Max Verstappen who extended his lead at the top of the Drivers’ Championship.
Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez could only recover to fourth after failing to qualify in the top ten.
In fact, George Russell managed to leapfrog the Red Bull driver to finish on the podium alongside teammate Lewis Hamilton.

However, neither Mercedes driver could get anywhere near the Dutchman.
Pinkham has shared what she’s noticed has changed about Verstappen recently.
Although he looks like he’s going to cruise to his third-world title, it may not be exactly what he wants.
Pinkham on what’s changed about Verstappen
Asked about the 25-year-old, Pinkham said: “He has changed. I think he’s even more relaxed, he’s taking it all in his stride, and he’s absolutely dominating.
“My only concern is that he really wants others to be in the fight with him, and I don’t want him to get bored.
“I want to see him fighting others, I want to see wheel-to-wheel racing and I want to see him thoroughly enthralled by the fight ahead of him because that’s when we see the best racing.
“I don’t think it serves anyone that he’s so far ahead.”
We’re not even halfway through this Formula 1 season but already the destination of both titles looks wrapped up.

Although the races themselves haven’t always been that exciting, the jeopardy behind Verstappen and Red Bull is what’s making this season interesting.
The assertion from Pinkham that Verstappen is even more relaxed shows what’s changed in F1 this year.
The Red Bull has accelerated even further ahead of its main rivals and they may not even be showing their full potential yet.
Formula 1 heads to Canada this weekend, with Red Bull hoping to continue their record of winning every single race so far this year.
Verstappen came out on top by just under a second over Carlos Sainz last year.
It would be a huge surprise if the gap was that small again on Sunday.
