A Lewis Hamilton ‘shift’ has been spotted after the Ferrari driver produced an impressive Canadian Grand Prix.
Last weekend, Hamilton enjoyed his best weekend as a Ferrari driver after finishing P2 in Montreal.
Teenage sensation Kimi Antonelli won the Canadian Grand Prix ahead of Hamilton and Red Bull star Max Verstappen.
Meanwhile, Antonelli’s teammate and title rival George Russell was forced to retire on Lap 30 due to a power unit issue.
After the race, Hamilton was smiling from ear to ear as he expressed his joy of securing his best Grand Prix finish since joining the Scuderia.

Reacting to Hamilton’s performance, former F1 mechanic Marc Priestley stated that there is a notable ‘shift’ within the seven-time world champion, which will only be boosted by ‘convincingly’ beating Charles Leclerc around Montreal.
Meanwhile, F1 journalist Rebecca Clancy noticed a change in Hamilton’s ‘body language’.
Priestley said on BBC’s Chequered Flag podcast: “I think that shift comes from his emotional state and what else is going on around him.
“I think this year, things are clicking. And, the fact that he dominated his teammate and convincingly this weekend, will just boost that positivity he’s got.”
Clancy said: “What I thought was interesting from him was the radio message afterwards saying thanks so much for the car. Obviously, during the race, he complains all the time, but that is just Lewis through and through.
“Hamilton came on the radio and said, ‘Thank you so much, this was great, this is for you guys’. He was practising his Italian, which does go a long way within the team that he does that.
“He seems really comfortable with this car. It’s all moving in the right direction. Now it feels like it’s settling down; it feels like it’s starting to click for him.
“You wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Silverstone and won again. But, it’s more about his attitude, his body language, what he’s saying, it does feel like there’s been a shift.”
