Formula 1 has experienced one of the most turbulent years of driver market speculation in recent history this season.
More than half of the gird knew their contracts were expiring at the beginning of 2024 and while many have signed renewals or new deals elsewhere, a few such as Valtteri Bottas and Kevin Magnussen have also missed out.
There are four rookies preparing for the start of their first full F1 campaigns in 2025 too, including Kimi Antonelli and Oliver Bearman.
A changing of the guard is taking place, with only a handful of drivers who would be considered veterans staying in the sport.
Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton are legends of F1, while Nico Hulkenberg joins another new team at the age of 37.
Red Bull driver Sergio Perez is another experienced racer on the grid, but Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard have shared their worrying prediction about his future on the Formula For Success Podcast.

The £8m-a-year driver is under increasing pressure given his concerning performances this year.
Red Bull are looking at Perez’s contract and several options exist in the sport who could step into his seat next year.
Eddie Jordan thinks Sergio Perez has ‘not a chance’ of being in F1 next season
Jordan was very impressed with Liam Lawson at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix and the young Kiwi is proving his credentials quickly at RB.
Lawson is an option to replace Perez next season, while Red Bull are also looking at Franco Colapinto as an option given he has no immediate future in F1 at Williams.
Talking about the Mexican’s performance in Brazil and his F1 future, Jordan said: “Perez, you know, he’s now had, how many chances has he had?” Do you think he’ll have a drive next year, David? Not a chance. Not a chance.
“He’s a lovely, lovely, lovely guy. But we know lovely guys don’t win you Grand Prix.
“Whereas Lawson is the deal, he’s part of the family there, he’s part of the makeup and he should be in… He is the person that should be in that car.”

Coulthard added: “Well, look, I’m not going to disagree with the fact, Checo, lovely guy.
“He has been a Grand Prix winner. He has been a loyal servant as the team have been to him.
“But unless something happens in the next three races that gives you a whole lot of confidence that it’s just an issue with this car, then the writing is very, very boldly on the wall.”
What Christian Horner told Red Bull staff about Sergio Perez’s future
Perez has three races left to change a lot of people’s minds about his future in Formula 1.
Timo Glock believes Perez’s time in F1 is coming to an end, but ultimately, Christian Horner and Helmut Marko are the people he needs to impress.

Horner addressed Red Bull staff regarding Perez’s future after his disappointing race in Sao Paulo.
The Anglo-Austrian team have backed Perez under difficult circumstances before when his position was under pressure during summer break.
The three-month gap between the finale in Abu Dhabi and the season opener in Australia would give Red Bull much more time to bring in a replacement if required.
