Visa Cash App RB driver Yuki Tsunoda has admitted that the 2024 Ferrari Formula 1 car looks incredibly fun to drive.
Ferrari could just be the closest rivals Red Bull have to deal with this season based on pre-season testing.
Speaking after pre-season testing, via Formu1a.uno, Tsunoda admitted that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz’s new car looked very good in Bahrain.
Tsunoda admits 2024 Ferrari looks fun to drive
While every driver was trying to get to grips with their new car in Bahrain, they would also have had one eye on their rivals heading into this season.
The eye-catching new Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber car will look fantastic at night races due to the fluorescent green plastered all over its new livery.
More experienced drivers might be slightly confused about why there’s a Toro Rosso on the grid, when in fact it’s the new VCARB 01 driver by Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo.
However, the Red Bull appears to be the one car most of the rest of the paddock will only see on the grid before it races off into the distance once again.
Tsunoda has been taking a closer look at this year’s Ferrari and admits he looks very fun to drive.
They were the only team to disrupt Red Bull’s winning streak in 2023 and appear to have taken another step forward this year.
Sainz and Leclerc topped the timing sheets during testing, but no one is going to read too much into those times unless they can replicate those performances in qualifying on Friday.

Asked about the other cars on the grid, Tsunoda said: “I saw the onboards, and they have made progress on the balance of the car; last year, they had an oversteer on entry. Now, they are more solid, and the car seems very fun to drive.
“They may not be as strong as Red Bull, but they have made a big step.”
Tsunoda has been speaking about his future and admitted he would love to drive for Red Bull one day, but he’s unlikely to turn down the chance to race for Ferrari in the future either.
He also suggested that rivals Williams were likely hiding some performance in Bahrain and it’ll be fascinating to see where they end up after the first Grand Prix.
There’s so much to get excited about this week with the first of 24 races on the horizon.
Tsunoda and Ricciardo will hope the steps forward RB have taken over the winter can continue their momentum from the end of last season.
