The Sao Paulo Grand Prix was full of incidents from the moment qualifying was postponed until Sunday morning.
There were five red flags in qualifying on Sunday morning which allowed RB drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson to produce the best qualifying performances of their Formula 1 careers.
Tsunoda started on the second row of the grid alongside Esteban Ocon with his new Kiwi teammate directly behind him.
They both had good getaways too, with Tsunoda holding his own right up until the safety car came out although he eventually lost out to Ocon before losing two more positions when he pitted.
Lawson wasn’t so lucky and at the restart following Franco Colapinto’s second big crash of the day, he was down in 10th.

That’s because Lawson collided with McLaren driver Oscar Piastri earlier on in the race, sending the youngster spinning.
Piastri was handed a 10-second penalty as a result and Ted Kravitz shared what happened in the pit lane on Sky Sports F1 when they came face-to-face during the stoppage.
It was the last thing Lawson needed as he continued to try and secure a contract for next season at either Red Bull team.
What Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson did in the Brazilian Grand Prix pitlane after collision
The safety car was brought out several laps after Piastri and Lawson’s tangling but not because of any incident.
Instead, the conditions were becoming increasingly treacherous and on fresh intermediate tyres, Colapinto was the driver who inevitably made a race-ending mistake on the long run down to the start line.
This brought out the red flag and all the drivers parked up in the pit lane, giving them the opportunity to change their tyres which benefitted Max Verstappen and both Alpine drivers.

Reporting from the pit lane during the red flag, Kravitz said: “Yeah, lots going on down here as all of the drivers are getting out of their cars and going back to their garages, going for a comfort break and then debriefing with their engineers.
“Oscar Piastri has just come over to apologise to Liam Lawson, Piastri’s apologised to Liam Lawson for the crash they had.
“Liam sort of said, well all right, OK.”
Liam Lawson having dramatic return to Formula 1 after replacing Daniel Ricciardo
Lawson knew that there would be plenty of attention on him on his return to F1 after being brought in to replace one of the sport’s most popular drivers.
Fernando Alonso wasn’t happy with Lawson after the Sprint Race in Austin after a tense battle outside the points.
The Kiwi then put in a fantastic performance in the Grand Prix to score two vital points for RB.

Lawson and Perez were fighting during the Sprint Race in Brazil as well, with Perez coming out on top on that occasion.
Piastri didn’t do his fellow Antipodean any favours in Sao Paulo but was gracious enough to apologise at the first opportunity.
