A group of high profile sports stars have became co-investors in Alpine F1 with a £173 million stake in the racing team.
Alpine Formula One are acquiring quite the group of co-investors, with A-listers such as Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, along with Bournemouth co-owner Michael B Jordan.
These names are all part of a syndicate which bought a 24% share of the team back in June which was followed by both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce investing in Alpine.
Now, the list has been extended with various British sports figures getting involved as part of the Apex investment group.

Who has joined as co-owners?
According to The Guardian, the already high level list has been added to with a series of other high profile names already involved.
Trent Alexander‑Arnold, Anthony Joshua, Juan Mata, Alexander Zverev and Rory McIlroy have all got involved in Alpine.
Trent Alexander-Arnold in particular is a huge fan of Alpine and sees the deal as a great investment opportunity.
“I am delighted to lead an investor group investing in Alpine F1,” he said.
“The opportunity is very exciting, F1 is growing massively worldwide and I look forward to contributing to that growth. The sport brings together teamwork, pinpoint accuracy and innovation in a pressure-filled environment, these are aspects of my game we have in common.”
The athletes involved are believed to be expected to play a role in the team by not only attending races, but using their sporting expertise to drive Alpine’s commercial strategy.
