George Russell followed right behind Antonelli to make it yet another successful outing for Mercedes, while former Mercedes ace Lewis Hamilton earned his first podium with Ferrari in third place.

The sight of Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, and Lewis Hamilton – three drivers who have been instrumental in his time with Mercedes – along with Peter Bonnington, is a moment Wolff will never forget.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been in Formula 1, but that podium now was probably one of the best moments I’ve ever had in Formula 1.”

“Felt like it was getting the band back together, but not the band, I don’t know what the analogy is there. But it was really, really nice, really touching, Lewis is a great sportsman, as ever.”
