Alpine have catapulted themselves up the constructors’ standings after a fantastic Brazilian Grand Prix performance.
Both of their cars managed to reach the podium, as Esteban Ocon came second and Pierre Gasly third for the French outfit.
Remarkably, with three races to go, Gasly has the chance to become the first driver in Formula 1 history to complete a season without causing any damage.
But his team will have their eye on bigger things, including prize money, with a chance to finish sixth in the team’s battle for 2025 with another good performance or two.

Ralf Schumacher calls Alpine outlook ‘better’
Alpine will have a new driver line-up for 2025, as Ocon departs to join Haas, and Jack Doohan takes his place.
Ralf Schumacher’s nephew – Mick, was competing for a drive with them, but they overlooked his services after a test.
Speaking to Formel1.de on YouTube, he delivered a promising view on whether or not the French team could be sold.
“That’s right, and on the other hand my customers, there are guaranteed to be enough shareholders. What I hear is that the CEO of Renault still has the desire to be successful with the team one day.
“You say the last two races were strong and you don’t even know what it came from. It’s really surprising.
“From that point of view, something seems to be better now or it’s better to do it with the same car like that.”
Can Alpine finish sixth in the constructors’?
Alpine face an incredible task to keep hold of their sixth place in the constructors’ standings – obtained after their ‘dreamland scenario’ and points in Sao Paulo.
They’re three points ahead of Haas who have been in great form lately and probably have the fastest racecar of anyone in the midfield.
Just behind them is the slightly more consistent Visa Cash App RB outfit, who have chipped away at their total and are re-energised after the signing of Liam Lawson.

Both are preferred to beat Alpine to sixth under normal conditions, as their car appears to be a little slower but they’re at least in the picture now.
Five points separating three teams means that the fight will inevitably go to the season finale in Abu Dhabi – making it an even more fascinating watch for fans.
