One of the most anticipated driver moves for the 2025 Formula 1 season is Lewis Hamilton switching to Ferrari.
Hamilton is one of the biggest names in sport having been voted as one of the most marketable in 2023, partnering with Ferrari who are also the most well-known team in F1.
The seven-time world champion said it will be a “dream” to race with them on social media following the announcement earlier this year, as he looks to add an eighth title to his driving achievements.
He will go up against 26-year-old Charles Leclerc, who is looking to add to his tally of six race wins and mount a title challenge having come close during the 2022 season.
Speaking on his You Tube live stream, Peter Windsor believes Leclerc might get annoyed by Hamilton if a key thing happens during their partnership.

Why Charles Leclerc might be ‘extremely annoyed’ by Lewis Hamilton
Throughout their three seasons together, Carlos Sainz has been comfortably within a tenth of Leclerc’s lap times.
In 2023 the pair came remarkably close to each other, with Leclerc winning the intra-team qualifying battle by 15-7 and beating him by just six points in the Drivers’ standings.
Windsor thinks Leclerc might get irked by his consistency, which could lead to questions over why Ferrari decided to replace Sainz in the first place from his side of the garage.
“If Charles is usually a tenth quicker, Lewis will be confident he can handle Charles in the race,” said Windsor.
“If it’s the other way around, I can see Charles starting to get extremely annoyed by the whole situation and saying to Nicholas Todt ‘What have we done here? Why didn’t we keep Carlos?’ Even then, Carlos drove pretty well at Silverstone. If the car was as difficult as Charles made it look, then Sainz did an unbelievable job.”

Lewis Hamilton’s remarkable teammate record
In the 18 seasons that Hamilton has competed in F1, he has only been defeated by a teammate on three occasions.
Defending world champion Fernando Alonso finished ahead of him during his debut season at McLaren in 2007, then latterly Jenson Button during the 2011 season.

The last time a teammate beat him was George Russell in 2022, who outscored Hamilton by 35 points at the end of the year.
It is a remarkable achievement and shows just how hard Leclerc will need to work to beat him, having himself only been defeated by a teammate once in his car racing career by Sainz in 2021.
