Lando Norris is a fan-favourite Formula 1 driver for being unapologetically himself, so here is all that you need to know about the McLaren racer who won the 2025 Formula 1 world championship.

F1 fans have flocked to make Lando Norris one of the most well-followed drivers on the grid during recent seasons. His nice guy personality and modest outlook pair with tremendous speed to place him among the best pilots. Norris has also remained loyal to McLaren since his arrival on the grid in 2019.

The Woking team brought Norris through from their driver academy programme in the 2017 season as a 17-year-old after taking the 2016 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award, plus multiple junior and karting titles.

How old is Lando Norris?

At the time of writing, McLaren driver Norris is 26 years old. The fan-favourite Formula 1 ace was born on 13 November, 1999 and he soon started racing go-karts from the age of seven. Norris started his career at the Clay Pigeon Kart Track like 2009 F1 champion Jenson Button.

Norris was born in Bristol – a city, and a ceremonial county since 1996, in South West England, but grew up in Glastonbury. The 2025 champion actually holds dual nationality with Belgium, due to his mum Cisca Wauman who is from the Flanders region.

How tall is Lando Norris?

According to the official McLaren F1 website, Lando Norris measures in at 1.77m or 5ft 9in tall, the same as Alpine’s Pierre Gasly.

It is widely reported that Norris measured in at 1.70m, or 5ft 6in tall, making him the second smallest driver on the Formula grid, although this is incorrect.

In March 2023, photographer Kym Illman, posted a video with the McLaren driver on his YouTube channel, which confirmed Norris’ true height of 1.77m.

What is Lando Norris’ net worth and how much is he paid?

According to Forbes, as of the end of the 2025 season, Norris is the third-highest-paid Formula 1 driver, taking home a staggering £41.9m ($57.5m) after winning the world championship. On top of his £13m ($18m) salary, the Brit claimed an estimated £7.29m ($10m) bonus for his title victory, on top of his pre-existing bonuses with McLaren.

Thanks to his successes on a Formula 1 track and growing appeal as one of the most popular drivers in the world, Lando Norris has also enhanced his net worth in the region of £30m.

Outside of his Formula 1 career, Norris has several additional revenue sources, including owning his gaming and lifestyle brand, Quadrant. The brand, which is described as a “dynamic motorsport community”, has built a strong social following, with 1.12m subscribers on YouTube, as well as working with a number of high-profile brands, including LEGO, Sony and Hilton Hotels.

Where does Lando Norris live?

Norris lives in Monaco after moving to the Principality from his house near McLaren’s factory in Woking following the 2021 F1 season. He also admitted in January 2022 that the move to Monte Carlo was financially motivated as it was ‘more beneficial’ for his long-term future.

As part of his social media exploits, the 2025 champion allowed fans a small glimpse into his Monaco home during a video with YouTuber Angryginge. 24 Hours in Monaco with Lando Norris took viewers inside Norris’ apartment, including seeing his trophy and car collections, home gym and F1 simulator set-up.

Who are Lando Norris’ parents Adam and Cisca and does he have any siblings?

Norris is the second-oldest child of Adam and Cisca Norris. Adam is one of the richest people in Bristol and England, with his net worth previously standing at £205m in 2016, before Lando debuted in Formula 1 three years later.

Adam Norris amassed his personal wealth through considerable success in business, which included investing in start-up companies through Glastonbury-based Horatio Investments. He then retired at just 33 years old after turning Pensions Direct into one of the top pension advice groups.

Since his retirement from investing, Norris’ dad founded an electric scooter company Pure Electric, with drivers around the Formula 1 paddock regularly using them.

Norris has three siblings, including older brother Oliver, who also had a successful karting career before he retired in 2014. A year before his retirement, Oliver became CEO of Cool Performance Simulators, which designs, develops and builds racing simulators for a variety of motorsports, but most notably for nine Formula 1 drivers, including his brother Lando, Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon.

Oliver married his long-time girlfriend, Savannah Norris, in 2022, with the pair sharing two young daughters, Mila and Athena, born in 2021 and 2023.

Norris also has two younger sisters, Flo, a successful equestrian show jumper and Cisca, who remains relatively out of the spotlight. On the Made With Love podcast with Tom Daley two years ago, Norris described his youngest sister as “the brains of the family” adding that she had done “very well in school”.

Who is Lando Norris’ girlfriend?

Lando Norris is dating Portuguese model and actress Margarida Corceiro. Also known as Magui, the 23-year-old was first seen at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix around the paddock with Norris’ father Adam, but the pair had continued to keep their relationship private until the following year.

Corceiro also attended the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix, where it was then revealed that the pair were together, and she has since been seen at a number of races, including when Norris won the championship in Abu Dhabi.

Ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season, Magui opened up about the online hate and death threats she has received since her relationship with Norris went public. In a post to her Instagram stories, the actress said “No form of harassment is acceptable – threats and intimidation especially cross a line” before adding: “I will no longer normalize this behavior. I choose to speak up and set boundaries.”

Lando Norris has his own Monster Energy Drink flavour

In 2025, it was announced that Norris would be sponsored by Monster Energy after the iconic drink brand ended their partnership with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton the previous year. A collaboration between the McLaren driver and the energy drink brand was later released in June 2025, before hitting the American market four months later.

The can is wrapped in Norris’ infamous helmet design, which is neon yellow and features his unusual shaped blobs. The Lando Norris Monster Energy Drink is refreshing melon with yuzu flavour, which has been praised by Norris’ fans.

Lando Norris has an iconic champagne smash celebration

As well as growing an audience on the streaming platform, Twitch, Lando Norris has built a reputation for the McLaren F1 driver’s iconic champagne smash celebration. He powers the champagne bottle, given to the podium finishers into the floor to create an eruption effect.

But Norris’ celebration also backfired at the 2023 Hungarian GP when he smashed the first-place trophy awarded to Max Verstappen. The Briton came home second to the Dutchman. But the Red Bull star’s ceramic trophy was rested on the edge of the rostrum, and was shattered when Norris knocked it with his celebration.
