Lewis Hamilton has been advised not to get carried away, as he does not have the ‘upper hand’ at Ferrari.
The Chinese Grand Prix appeared to be a turning point for Lewis Hamilton after having a difficult time with Ferrari and against his teammate, Charles Leclerc.
On Saturday, the British driver finished in third place in the Sprint Race at the Shanghai International Circuit, but finished behind his teammate who was in second.
However, on Sunday at the Chinese Grand Prix, Hamilton got his own back as he finished in third once again and beat Leclerc, who finished in fourth place.
After the opening two Grands Prix of the season, Hamilton finds himself in fourth place in the Championship with 33 points, whereas Leclerc is ahead of him in third place with 34 points.

Lewis Hamilton does not have the ‘upper hand’ at Ferrari
During Paddock Talk, Dutch racing driver Jeroen Bleekemolen discussed the battle between Hamilton and Leclerc at the Chinese Grand Prix.
However, even though Hamilton beat Leclerc at the Chinese Grand Prix, he insisted that the seven-time World Champion does not have the ‘upper hand’ at Ferrari.
Bleekemolen said, “Well, I really enjoyed watching him last weekend. Those battles with Leclerc, too. They were both just so enthusiastic. And, well, in the end, he won fair and square.
“It was on the edge but didn’t go over the line. They were both having a right good laugh. He was really enjoying it too. Well, I also remember that sprint race last year. He was on form then, and then things went downhill after that. I just think Leclerc is a stronger driver.
“This is really, in a way, Hamilton’s circuit. He’s always good there. That’s what you sometimes get with tracks: everything just falls into place, and you’re in the right rhythm, so, well, I don’t think he’ll have the upper hand at Ferrari either. But, well, it would be nice if he joined in now and then and maybe won a race again.”

Lewis Hamilton vs Charles Leclerc at the Chinese Grand Prix
The battle between Hamilton and Leclerc appeared so fierce that it has had many discussing their fight including former drivers and pundits.
Former Formula driver, Jolyon Palmer, discussed the battle as he said, “I think that’s why the battle is so intense, isn’t it? Because Charles has been King Kong of Ferrari for quite a while now”
The 1997 Formula 1 World Champion, Jacques Villeneuve, believed that Hamilton destroyed Ferrari’s race at the Chinese Grand Prix.
Even though Hamilton secured a third-place finish, Villeneuve said, “It destroyed Ferrari’s race. They were running second and third.”
