The British Grand Prix represents the halfway point in the 2025 Formula 1 season and is Lewis Hamilton’s happiest hunting ground on the calendar.
Lewis Hamilton has finished on the podium every year since 2014 at the British Grand Prix.
It’s a remarkable record, and his victory last season in his final season with Mercedes was extremely emotional for everyone involved.
However, Hamilton is still waiting for his first podium finish as a Ferrari driver, excluding this year’s Sprint Races.
The seven-time world champion finished fourth last time out in Austria, but was still a fair way off the pace of teammate Charles Leclerc.

Hamilton looked far more positive after the Austrian Grand Prix, but will be wanting to kick on even more before the end of the campaign.
Ferrari believe Hamilton’s biggest problem is coming during races, when last year qualifying was his biggest bugbear.
However, another problem between Hamilton and Ferrari is regularly being broadcast during races, and it’s not going down well with the Scuderia.

Lewis Hamilton feels his radio messages are treated ‘differently’ to his Formula 1 rivals
A report from BBC Sport has shared more details about what’s going on behind the scenes at Ferrari.
One of the biggest talking points after every race is the radio messages between both Ferrari drivers and their race engineers.
Hamilton felt there was more pace to extract after the Austrian Grand Prix, but overall, he was very happy with the team’s performance.
Riccardo Adami is Hamilton’s new race engineer after working alongside Pete Bonnington for more than a decade at Mercedes.

Speaking about their relationship, Hamilton said: “Our relationship is great, no problems.
“We’re constantly learning more and more about each other. We’re constantly adapting to the way both of us like to work.
“He’s worked with lots of different drivers before. We don’t have any problems whatsoever.”
BBC Sport suggest that insiders at Ferrari believe there are no issues between Hamilton and Adami, echoing what the seven-time world champion has said.
Team principal Fred Vasseur believes the conversations his drivers are having are typical of any team on the grid.
However, Hamilton ‘feels his messages are regarded differently from those of other drivers’ during races, pointing to how Max Verstappen speaks to Gianpiero Lambiase.
Alex Albon has been angry with Williams on the team radio this season, while Pierre Gasly was furious during the Austrian Grand Prix with Alpine’s lack of pace.

Damon Hill overlooks Lewis Hamilton when predicting 2025 British Grand Prix winner
Hamilton will be hoping to end his longest run of races without a Formula 1 podium at Silverstone.
He will have the support of nearly every fan at the track, even if Lando Norris has his own grandstands for the first time.
Damon Hill thinks Hamilton will miss out to Norris at the British Grand Prix this year, with McLaren simply too strong for every other team on the grid.
| Position | Drivers' Championship | Points |
