Lando Norris spoke about his excitement at seeing Max Verstappen race at the 24 Hours of
Nordschleife this weekend.
Verstappen’s appearance at Nurburgring earlier this year sparked headlines, as his venture brought a lot of eyes to GT3 racing.
While his F1 season was not delivering the way he had hoped, Verstappen was impressing at Nurburgring with some strong performances.

And with yet another break in the F1 calendar, Verstappen is set to return to Nurburgring for the 24 Hours of Nordschleife race this weekend.
The eyes of many in the F1 world will be on Max Verstappen, including his championship rival last season, Lando Norris.

Lando Norris shares what excites him ahead of Max Verstappen’s 24 Hours of Nordschleife appearance
Speaking in an interview with German outlet Auto, Motor, und Sport, Lando Norris looked forward to Max Verstappen’s appearance at the 24 Hours of Nordschleife this weekend.
Expressing his support for the Dutch driver, Norris referenced Verstappen’s battles with Christopher Haase as one of the encounters that caught his eye during Verstappen’s previous stint
“It’s the 24 Hours of Nordschleife, one of the best races in the world. I’ll definitely be tuning in, maybe not for the entire 24 hours, but as much as possible.
“And of course, I’ll be supporting Max because he’s a driver I greatly respect. I’ve enjoyed watching him and Christopher Haase battle it out over the past few weeks. So, I’ll definitely be there.”
Verstappen’s extraordinary battle with Haase was the highlight of his first stint at Nurburgring earlier this year. And with an even more competitive race coming this weekend, the two are likely to cross paths again.

With no F1 race this coming weekend, the 24 Hours of Nordschleife will be appointment viewing for many Verstappen fans hoping to see him continue thriving.
