McLaren shocked the Formula 1 world by revealing their livery for the 2024 season ahead of their official car launch and star driver Lando Norris has now reacted to the car he’ll be driving this season.
The start of the F1 season is fast approaching and McLaren jumped the gun on their rivals to reveal the car they’ll be showcasing around the world this season.
Taking to social media, Lando Norris has shared a short reaction to the new car as he enters his sixth season in Formula 1.
There is an awful lot of excitement around McLaren right now after an excellent end to 2023.
The second half of last season saw Andrea Stella’s team turn a corner and outscore every team on the grid except Red Bull.
Oscar Piastri secured a Sprint Race win in Qatar, while Norris regularly featured on the podium.
Norris has now shared his thoughts on McLaren’s new livery and already sounds very excited to get going.
He’s now got more than 100 Grand Prix under his belt but is still trying to achieve that elusive first win.
The 24-year-old will be desperate to break that duck this year but if the car isn’t up to scratch, he may start considering his future with the Woking-based team.

Norris issues verdict on 2024 McLaren livery
McLaren were all over social media yesterday showing off their new car, although the actual technical design of their machinery won’t be unveiled until next month.
Posting on Instagram, McLaren said: “The 2024 McLaren look. #WhateverItTakes”
Norris was straight into the replies and when he saw the car, he said: “Lesgggoooo.”

McLaren CEO Zak Brown said at the livery launch that he’s got the fastest driver pairing on the grid in Piastri and Norris.
The young Australian is arguably the most exciting talent on the grid right now.
He’s likely to push Norris to an even higher level this year and it would likely take a huge fee for a team like Red Bull to poach him from McLaren.
Stella doesn’t quite agree with his CEO, but another strong showing from his team may end up changing his mind.
If McLaren can hold onto these two and continue to improve their car year-on-year, there’s no reason why they can’t be challenging for titles sooner rather than later.
