The new generation of regulations has split the grid and fans alike, with the overwhelming consensus being one of frustration for the 50/50 split between electrical and thermal energy and the effect that it has had on the quality of racing.

Where will Aston Martin be in 2027?
Some fans noted how Stroll’s ‘immunity’ to the chopping block in F1 due to his father’s ownership of the Aston Martin outfit means that he is better suited to expressing his real opinion on the sport.
One wrote, “I’m happy he’s using his qualified immunity to speak the truth,” while another said, “I like this Stroll, dude is making good use of his untouchable status.”
A separate social media user highlighted their surprise at agreeing with Stroll’s take, commenting, “I did not have ‘Agreeing with Lance Stroll’s statement’ on my F1 bingo card.”
Finally, another user placed the Aston Martin star in the same category as some of the sport’s biggest legends, due to his outspoken nature. They commented, “Verstappen, Alonso, Hamilton and Stroll are the only drivers who don’t have to mince their words.”
