EA Sports has unveiled the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack DLC, bringing Formula 1’s dramatic new era to the game with sweeping regulation changes, new teams and an all-new circuit.

Launching in early June for console and PC players, the expansion is designed to reflect the sport’s huge 2026 technical overhaul. Players can expect redesigned cars, new 50/50 hybrid power units and active aerodynamics, all aimed at reshaping how Formula 1 cars perform on track.

The DLC will also introduce Audi and Cadillac following their arrival on the Formula 1 grid in 2026, complete with their official driver line-ups. Players will also get the chance to race on a brand-new circuit included as part of the expansion.

With Formula 1 experiencing one of the biggest rule changes in the sport’s history, the 2026 Season Pack looks set to give fans an early glimpse at the future of racing.

What is the release date for F1 25’s 2026 Season Pack DLC?

The F1 25: 2026 Season Pack will launch on 3 June 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, bringing Formula 1’s all-new era to players across every platform.

Players will need to own the base version of F1 25 to access the DLC, although EA Sports is also releasing an F1 25: 2026 Season Edition bundle for newcomers looking to jump straight into the updated experience.

The game’s developers, Codemasters, confirmed at the end of 2025 that, instead of releasing a traditional annual title, the studio would deliver a 2026 “premium content upgrade” for F1 25. EA Sports described the move as part of a “strategic reset for the F1 franchise”, with the developer instead focusing on a completely new game planned for 2027.

The publisher has already teased that the next full F1 title will “look, feel and play differently”, while also offering “more gameplay choices” as the series looks to evolve alongside Formula 1’s new generation of cars and regulations.

What is the price of the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack DLC?

PlayStation, Xbox and PC storefronts are yet to confirm the official price of the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack DLC, although EA Sports has revealed its suggested pricing for the expansion.

For players who already own F1 25, the standalone 2026 Season Pack is expected to cost £24.99 (€29.99/$29.99) on consoles and £21.99 (€24.99/$24.99) on PC.

Meanwhile, fans looking to purchase the complete F1 25: 2026 Season Edition, which includes both the base game and the new DLC, can expect a suggested price of £49.99 (€59.99/$49.99) on PlayStation and Xbox, or £44.99 (€49.99/$49.99) on PC.

The pricing gives players multiple ways to jump into Formula 1’s new era, whether they already own F1 25 or are picking up the game for the first time.

What are the new features of the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack DLC?

The F1 25: 2026 Season Pack DLC is set to bring Formula 1’s huge 2026 regulations overhaul to the gaming series, delivering new teams, cars and gameplay features as part of an expansion to F1 25 rather than a standalone title.

Audi and Cadillac will officially join the game following their arrival on the Formula 1 grid, with Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto receiving Audi’s new-look branding after previously appearing under Sauber colours. Former F1 race winners Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will also return to the franchise after signing for Cadillac for the 2026 season.

Players will also get the chance to race on the brand-new Madring circuit before its real-world Formula 1 debut later this year. The hybrid street and purpose-built layout, which is set to host the Spanish Grand Prix in September, marks the first new track added to the F1 game series since 2023.

Alongside the new teams and circuit, the DLC will introduce Formula 1’s updated regulations, including lighter and smaller cars, active aerodynamics and revised hybrid power units. EA Sports says the changes are designed to make racing feel more responsive and immersive across both controller and steering wheel setups.

The expansion will also add a new Overtake Mode, giving players more strategic options during races, while additional assist settings aim to create closer racing and a more tactical driving experience for players of all skill levels.

Senior creative director at Codemasters, Lee Mather, said: “The F1® 25: 2026 Season Pack marks the beginning of a bold new era for Formula 1. With sweeping regulation changes and new teams and rivalries redefining the grid, players can experience the most significant evolution of the sport in over a

decade. We are thrilled to bring these changes to players, including the incredible opportunity to race virtually on the MADRING circuit before the race, and look forward to sharing more soon.”
