The Formula 1 season might be over after the final race in Abu Dhabi, but the teams will still have post-season testing to participate in over the next week.

Two days after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix all the teams will take part in the test that will be split into two parts, the young driver test and Pirelli tyre testing.

The test has been held every year since 2009, with Abu Dhabi playing host since the 2010 season. It will be the final time that teams will be able to run their 2024 cars and seek some last-minute data before they turn their attention to next year’s car.

There will be some new additions while some of the regular drivers from this season will return for the last bit of on-track action before the winter break.

Who is driving in the F1 Abu Dhabi post-season test?

Lewis Hamilton will not participate in the test having been blocked by Mercedes on the basis that he still must complete sponsorship commitments, ahead of his switch to Ferrari in 2025.

He will instead have his first taste of a Ferrari machine in a test at Maranello early next year, when he is expected to run in an older specification car.
