Drive To Survive Season 6 returns to our screens very soon focusing on the 2023 Formula 1 season. Here’s the release date, where to watch it and everything else you need to know about the iconic F1 documentary series.

The Drive To Survive series has introduced Formula 1 to millions of new fans ever since it first aired in 2019.

Suddenly, people were given access to the inside stories of the F1 paddock and this season will focus on one of the most historic years in the sport’s history.

Season 6 of Drive To Survive will follow the sport as (SPOILER) Max Verstappen and Red Bull once again dominate Formula 1.

Of course! Formula 1 confirmed on their social media channels that the iconic series will once again be released just before the start of the 2024 season.

Formula 1 fans don’t have long to wait, with Drive to Survive Season 6 airing on Friday 23 February 2024, with every episode available to watch from 8 am UK time.

This coincides with when they normally release DTS as the teams are in the final stages of preparation for the upcoming season.

Where can I watch Drive to Survive?

Drive to Survive will once again air on Netflix in the UK and the United States.

The series is one of the streaming platform’s most popular sports documentaries and has introduced millions of people to the sport.

It has! In the build-up to Season 6 being released, Netflix released an initial teaser to increase the hype around the latest season.

How many episodes are there in Season 6 of Drive to Survive?

Formula 1 fans will be treated to 10 new episodes of Drive to Survive when the show returns on Friday 23 February 2024.

Netflix have announced the episode titles for all 10 episodes and they give us a clue of who might be centre-stage during the latest season of Drive to Survive:

• Episode 3: Under Pressure
• Episode 4: The Last Chapter
• Episode 5: Civil War
• Episode 6: Leap of Faith
• Episode 7: C’est La Vie

• Episode 9: Three’s A Crowd
• Episode 10: Red or Black

Who will feature in Drive to Survive Season 6?

Although it’s not been confirmed who each episode will focus on, the trailer has given us some clues on who might feature heavily this year.

• Aston Martin pair Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso both appear in the trailer, after the Canadian driver faced a race against time to be fit for the first race of the season, while Alonso had just made the surprising switch from Alpine.
• Nyck de Vries was one of three rookies on the grid but had a very difficult start to life at AlphaTauri.
• Alpine paired Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly together in 2023 despite their difficult relationship and the team’s senior management was under pressure as a result.
• There are also glimpses of Drive to Survive fan favourites Guenther Steiner and Daniel Ricciardo in the trailer.

When does the 2024 Formula 1 season start?

Pre-season testing in Formula 1 starts on Wednesday 21 February in Bahrain and lasts for three days.

The teams are then in action a week later, with the opening race of the season taking place on Saturday 2 March at 3 pm UK time.
