Lewis Hamilton just missed out on a podium at the British Grand Prix after chasing down Nico Hulkenberg at the end of the dramatic race.
Changing conditions threw up a mixed order, with several drivers at the start opting to gamble on dry tyres as the rain eased, promoting those further down the grid.
This allowed Hulkenberg to break into the top ten places, with him gaining more having been one of the first drivers to commit to a new set of Intermediate tyres before the next batch of rain hit the track.
After passing Lance Stroll in the closing stages of the race, he was under pressure from Lewis Hamilton, who fought back to challenge for the podium spots.
Discussing one of the moves he made through the field, Damon Hill thought Hamilton pulled off one ‘beautiful’ overtake when commentating on BBC Sport.

Damon Hill raves about Lewis Hamilton’s overtake on Pierre Gasly in British GP
Hill commented on a move made by Hamilton as he worked his way through the field, at one stage passing Pierre Gasly after harrying him for fifth place.
“Lewis Hamilton is reliving old glories as he’s revelling in these conditions and closing down now on Pierre Gasly. I think it is inevitable that he’s going to crack,” said Hill.
“That was a beautiful thing to watch, you can see all the experience. Lewis Hamilton placing his car in the right way, he just set himself up to get the sling-shot on Pierre Gasly and dispatched him without too much trouble and now he’s on his way.”
Hamilton went on to pile pressure on Nico Hulkenberg, but just stopped short at the chequered flag, having lost time on the Intermediate tyres.
Lewis Hamilton struggles with Ferrari that is ‘so hard to drive’
Hamilton radioed into his team to express how difficult it was to drive the car in the wet conditions, with the seven-time world champion struggling in the early stages of the race.
At one stage he told his engineer, Ricciardo Adami: “This car is so hard to drive mate, it’s snappy like crazy.”
His onboard showed him losing time exiting the pits when he switched to slick tyres at the end, which ultimately lost him time to Hulkenberg in the battle for the podium.
It was a weekend where Hamilton beat teammate Charles Leclerc in both qualifying and the race, after the Monegasque finished in 14th ahead of last-placed Yuki Tsunoda.
