Charles Leclerc was asked to use just one word to describe Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull.

Leclerc, 28, is one of the biggest names in Formula 1, having started his career with Sauber in 2018.

Already a part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, Leclerc joined the Scuderia as a full-time driver in 2019, replacing Kimi Raikkonen.

The Monegasque has since driven alongside the likes of Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz and most recently, Lewis Hamilton.

Charles Leclerc reflects on special Monza and Monaco victories

Leclerc went on to pick out two special victories he has enjoyed so far in his F1 career.

Reflecting on his first victory, which came at the 2019 Italian Grand Prix in Monza, Leclerc admitted it was tough to remain focused.

He said: “I struggled to stay focused. The Monza week is always special because you can feel all of Italy pushing the Scuderia.

“Winning under all that pressure makes the moment even more beautiful.”

Aside from winning at Monza in 2019, Leclerc also spoke about his maiden Monaco Grand Prix triumph in 2024.

The 28-year-old added: “I won on the streets where I used to take the bus to school. I was literally waiting for the bus on the starting grid.

“It was a moment I’d dreamed of for a long time with my dad. I’m sure he and Jules (Bianchi) see it all from up there. I want to continue making them smile.”
