With the new Formula One year a little over two weeks away, the drivers are busy getting to grips with their new car, Yuki Tsunoda is no different.
After an eighth-place finish last season, the only way should be up this season for AlphaTauri.
Especially considering much of the success actually came in the final weeks with Daniel Ricciardo snatching seventh in Mexico and Yuki Tsunoda grabbing eighth in Abu Dhabi.
This strong finish will give fans, the drivers and the team confidence of good things to come this season.
This feeling will only grow after the car unveiling when Tsunoda conveys a very positive verdict of how the car ran.

Yuki Tsunoda makes ‘big step’ claim over new AlphaTauri car
Quoted on MotorSport, Tsunoda gave his verdict on the car he’ll be driving for the coming season.
“It’s feeling great on the track, the first run with the VCARB 01 went all smooth,
“I already felt a couple of steps of improvement compared to last year and a really big step I felt compared to the same time last year. I really enjoyed also the new car with the new livery, new team, so it was a positive day.
“I would say overall, it’s an easier handling car and just didn’t feel any outstanding issue or strong characteristics and movements. So far, I’m feeling positive.”
AlphaTauri could quite easily have a fantastic season with this driving duo
An important thing to note about the eighth-place finish in the constructors for AlphaTauri is that they were without the number one driver Ricciardo for a substantial period.
The Australian fan favourite broke his hand which caused him to withdraw from multiple races, being replaced by Nick de Vries.
However, this campaign with both remaining fully fit, could be huge for the Red Bull sister team and should lead to a finish much higher than eighth – assuming the car is on point as it seemed to be towards the end of last season.
