Dino Beganovic is one of the upcoming stars at Ferrari having been signed to their Driver Academy programme since 2020.
Making his debut in karting in 2011, he would later go on to win multiple regional championships in Sweden including the OK junior karting catagory in 2018.
Beganovic made his single-seater debut in the Italian F4 championship in 2020, where he took his first pole and first win at the second round of the season in Imola.
With further success he managed to finish fourth overall in the championship, moving up to the European Formula Regional series in 2021. He made steady progress throughout the season, taking pole at the first race of the year at Monza and his first podium came at Mugello later in the season.

Dino Beganovic makes switch to Formula 3 with mixed results
He continued in the catagory for 2022 with the same team, winning the title with a dominant performance that included four victories, four poles, and two fastest laps. He moved to Formula 3 for the 2023 season, finishing on the podium in Bahrain, Monaco, and Barcelona.
Despite consistent results, Beganovic would be let down by reliability problems including an engine problem at the Silverstone round while a collision at the Spa Francorchamps round would lose him more points. He would eventually finish sixth in the standings, having earned a podium in Hungary.
Beganovic would continue in F3 for the 2024 season, where he put in consistent performances having won races in Melbourne and Spa Francorchamps. He finished the year overall in sixth again, which included further podiums in Austria and Hungary.
For the 2025 season, Beganovic has made the step up to Formula 2 where he is hoping to build on his experience. He will also make his FP1 debut with Ferrari, with outings in Bahrain and later in the season. He is the fifth driver from the Ferrari Academy to take to the wheel of a Ferrari F1 car, the other four being Charles and Arthur Leclerc, Robert Shwartzman and Oliver Bearman.
Beganovic will also be the second driver from Sweden to drive a Ferrari F1 car on an official weekend after Stefan Johansson, who raced with the Maranello squad between 1985 and 1986.
